My Walgreen's Deal's - 10/7

I ventured out to Walgreen's to capture the Cottonelle Deal yesterday.  I wanted to see if it actually worked, and also to look around at what other deals that i could find.  I bought $86.47 worth of merchandise for $5.83 but received $11.99 in register rewards!  I started with $15 in register rewards from last week.  There were are few deals that i didn't pick up, like the Coldcalm.  The Register Rewards were not ringing up for that particular item, and they were giving you a mail in rebate, which i didn't want to do.  See below for the breakdown of what i bought!

(6) Cottonelle Ultra 12 packs (purple - the only one the RR works with) - I did 3 seperate transactions on these.  You get $3.00 in Register Rewards back per 2 you buy.  You can't use the register reward for the item you received it on in another transaction or the register reward will not print.  Click READ MORE for the entire list!

I used (6) - $.75/1 Cottonelle Coupons - Smart Source 9/11
I also used Walgreens October Coupon Book - $1/1 Cottonelle Coupon
This totaled each to be $1.75 or $3.50 for 2
My total for (6) was $11.25 plus tax, but i used (4) of my $2.00 Register Rewards from last week so i only paid $3.25.  I did use (1) filler item of Act II popcorn $.25 ea for each transaction, so i could use my register rewards, that is why the total was a bit higher. You can print a $.50/1- Cottonelle Coupon HERE and it will make them $2.00 per pack, which is still an awesome deal!
I  bought (12) Vicks Cough Drops packs - They are up near the register and are on sale for 2/$1.79.
I used (12) $1.00/1 - Vicks Product Coupons (10/2 P&G Insert)
Walgreens doesn't allow for overage, since I would have had $2.52 in overage, i added in (8) Nivea Lip Care Lip Balms - on sale for $4.00/2.  I used (4) $3.00/2 Nivea Lip Product Coupons (10/2 SS), bringing them to $.50 each.  My total was $2.47 plus tax for this transaction. I bought a ACT II popcorn(single) $.25 w/ in ad coupon and used a $2 register reward from last week, making the total - $.72 plus tax

I also bought (8) bags of Ricola Cough Drops- (deall good till today 10/8).  I had Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Coupons, they were on sale for $1.29 w/ in ad coupon and i used $.50 off coupon from Walgreen's October Coupon Booklet.  You can only use the in ad coupon 3 times, and with the BOGO coupon i had to do this in 4 seperate transactions.  My cashier actually took off $1.79 at one store and the other store i did this at they took of $.80 for the FREE one, so it all depends on what they actually take off for the FREE one on what you pay.  One place it was FREE and the other, the cost was $.40 ea.  Total i paid for all (8) Ricola was $1.60 plus tax.  You can print out $.60/1 - Ricola Coupon HERE(zip 10038) and only pay $.20 ea. in the end.

Finally i purchased (1) Cepacol at $2.99(deal good till today 10/8) and received a $2.99 register reward back and this made it FREE.  I also added in (4) more of the Nivea Lip Balm at $.50 each.  I used a $5.00 register reward from last week, and bought one filler item - ActII popcorn at $.25.  Total paid for this was $.26 plus tax.

Ending TOTAL for the day - $5.83 plus tax and i received back (3) $3.00 Register Rewards for Cottonelle, and (1) $2.99 Register Reward for  Cepacol. So i actually made about $6.16 for the day!  Not too shabby!
